Caveman Syndrome

“We have been using ACOMARC™ since April of 1994. I remember the month vividly because it was just after tax time. It is also the last year that I had to suffer with nightmares before the April 15th deadline.

“Prior to using the ACOMARC software, I had been doing everything manually – even writing checks. It was sort of a ‘caveman syndrome’ and I knew there had to be an easier way, but I was afraid to let go. However, the job was becoming unmanageable. At first I was a little unsure, as anyone who has been doing the books by hand might be. But once we got up and running, it made everything so much easier! No more sleepless nights (especially around April 15th) and now I know that everything balances. I don’t have to go back a double-check things three weeks later. Everything balances each and every day. Then when April 15th rolls around, I simply print the reports and “bam,” it’s all ready for my accountant. That’s the true test. Then I go home and rest well at night. That’s a big plus!

“We even decided to have Team Management upgrade our hardware to insure Year 2000 compatibility. We’re thrilled we did! I used to key faster than the old 486 computer would go, but now it keeps up with me. That’s when I realized that we should have upgraded sooner.

“The ACOMARC system has been a lifesaver when it comes to our Inventory control. We track serial numbers on all our inventory and keep a physical count on all our warehouse items monthly. What a comfort!
